Neighborhood Launch Balloon Installation | Party Hat Celebrations
Party Hat Celebrations created a large-scale balloon installation for the launch of a newly built neighborhood, using a custom color palette inspired by the client’s logo and event florals.
The goal was to bring color and energy throughout the tented event space while keeping the design cohesive with the overall branding and floral elements.
A Custom Color Palette Inspired by the Brand
The balloon colors were selected to coordinate with the client’s logo and florals, using a mix of rosy blush, sandy white, yellow, purple and green.
Rather than relying on one dominant color, we layered several complementary shades throughout the installation to create a softer, more dimensional look.
The result was colorful and celebratory while still feeling polished enough for a branded launch event.
Filling a Large Tent With Color
One of the biggest design challenges with a large tent is making sure the decor has enough scale to visually fill the space.
Instead of concentrating all of the balloons in one area, we spread the balloon elements throughout the tent so guests experienced the color from multiple angles.

This helped bring the decor upward and made the entire tent feel more immersive.
Balloon Chandeliers for Overhead Impact
Balloon chandeliers were used to add visual interest above the guest area and help fill the vertical space inside the tent.
Overhead balloon decor can be especially effective for large events because it draws the eye upward and helps prevent tall event spaces from feeling empty.
The chandeliers also gave us another opportunity to repeat the event’s color palette throughout the venue.
Oversized 36-Inch Balloons
Large 36-inch balloons added another layer of scale to the installation.
Oversized balloons can create dramatic visual moments while also helping connect smaller balloon elements across a large event space.
For this project, they worked alongside the chandeliers and smaller garlands to create a layered design with different shapes and sizes throughout the tent.
Smaller Garlands Throughout the Tent
We also added smaller pieces of balloon garland to the upper areas of the tent.
These accents helped distribute color throughout the space and connect the larger balloon elements without making every area feel identical.
Using a combination of large and small installations gave the event more movement and visual variety.
